CHURCH CALENDAR

The Community Church of Madrid celebrates the Euchrist on the first Sunday of each month. The ecumenical nature of the Community Church means all people seeking reconciliation with Jesus Christ are invited to the table of our Lord.

Confirmation classes always begin on the first Sunday of Lent each year for any person in 6th grade or above (approximately 12 years old) who would like to explore their faith and take this step of publicly identifying with the body of Christ. Classes will be held every Sunday morning during Lent from 10:00am to 11:00am. The Confirmation service is always held on Palm Sunday. Please contact the Pastor if you are interested.

Christmas Eve, Easter, Palm Sunday, and even Thanksgiving are celebrated with special services of worship and praise. On the Sunday before Christmas, the children and youth present a Christmas pageant during the regular worship service. On Christmas Eve, a bi-lingual service of carols, scripture, and candle light is celebrated with our Spanish Protestant brothers and sisters at the Iglesia de Cristo, Calle Bravo Murillo, #85.

The annual Church Picnic is always held in early June before school lets out for the summer. It is a wonderful time of relaxed fun and fellowship as we get to know one another better. The picnic is always held at one of the homes of a member who lives in a house with a backyard. Transportation is always arranged for those without cars, or who live in the city.
