Gathering

The Community Church of Madrid is a diverse family of faith joined together by our love for Jesus Christ and the desire to share His witness of love. We are committed to providing a welcoming haven for English-speaking Christians in Madrid and to nurture growth in Christ, without walls, without doors, without limits. Through worship, fellowship, study, and outreach, we seek to celebrate our diversity while living in unity.

A strong church community is built on more than Sunday worship. At the Community Church of Madrid, we are always growing our family of faith, sharing our gifts, and deepening our bonds:

• Through our Sometimes Choir (Christmas, Easter; practices a few months before each), we make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
• Through our Coffee Hour (monthly), we gather informally after services.
• Through The Pastor Knocks (any time), our pastors knock on our doors and hearts, sharing prayer, pastoral counseling, and fellowship with congregants.
• Through our Dinner Crew (monthly), we break bread together at restaurants in Central Madrid.
• Through our Book and Brunch Club (monthly), we celebrate our love of reading and books, sharing brunch and book discussion.
• Through our Cultural Events group (semi-monthly), we learn from and about each other as we explore Madrid’s cultural offerings, from exhibitions to performances.
• Through our Retreat (annually), we strengthen our faith and community ties by spending time as a faith family in a natural setting.
• Through our Church Picnic (annually, summer), we celebrate our abundance and mark the calendar’s change to more-relaxed “summer-time.”
